GeoSpec NMR core analyzer
GeoSpec is a professional nuclear magnetic resonance core analyzer selected for use by major oil producers and SCAL laboratories. This product offers three different power frequencies of 2MHz, 12MHz, and 20MHz for customers to choose from. The GeoSpec 2Mhz product is an industry standard product used for routine measurement of relaxation time distribution. It can predict basic physical parameters of rocks, such as porosity, free and bound fluid measurements, and T2 cutoff values, through this instrument.
These instruments operate at a frequency of 2Mhz to reduce artifacts caused by ferromagnetic materials in the sample and simulate the operation of NMR logging tools. The high-frequency field (12 and 20MHz) GeoSpec model can be used for situations with high sensitivity requirements, such as samples with extremely low porosity, and special applications such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Oxford Instruments and Green Imaging Technology (GIT) is a leader in the software and hardware fields of nuclear magnetic resonance core analysis. The GeoSpec series instruments are the result of the strong collaboration and sincere cooperation between two units.
Probe size - Select the appropriate probe size based on the sample size to maximize signal-to-noise ratio and minimize measurement time
Q-Sense detection technology - used for short echo detection, it can observe small pores in dense rocks and shale, while maintaining high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) in a short measurement time
Software provided by Green Imaging Technologies
P5 unit - used for measuring under conditions as close as possible to storage conditions
