application
DEAC is used as a co catalyst for the Ziegler Natta polymerization of olefins.
storage
DEAC and its solution are stable under dry inert gas protection and away from heat sources. DEAC begins to slowly decompose when the temperature exceeds 174 ° C.
Packaging and transportation
DEAC and its solutions can be found in mobile tank packaging worldwide. Only in North America can products packaged in car and train tankers be obtained. The packaging can is made of carbon steel and equipped with bottom insertion pipes for top unloading, with all connections located in the steam space section. Packaging and transportation comply with international regulations.
Security and Handling
DEAC burns upon contact with air and reacts violently upon contact with water. DEAC hydrocarbon solutions may ignite upon contact with air. DEAC and its hydrocarbon solutions must be stored under dry inert gas protection, such as nitrogen or argon gas. Before coming into contact with alkyl metals, water in the production process must be carefully removed. Otherwise, it may cause an explosion. The products of complete combustion of DEAC and its hydrocarbon solutions are alumina, carbon dioxide, hydrogen chloride, and water. DEAC can cause severe burns to the skin and eyes. Require mandatory wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment when using DEAC. For detailed information on safe storage, use, and operation of DEAC, please refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Before accepting this product, carefully read the relevant safety information on the MSDS. MSDS can be obtained from the following sources: nouryon.com sds search.
